Questions people actually ask
Can I try TailGPT before paying?
Yes. Every new TailGPT account can test it free in the dashboard, and no card is needed. Add one website, have up to 500 of its pages read, create one chatbot and ask it 20 test questions in your dashboard, so you see real answers from your own pages. To put the chatbot on your website, choose a plan.
Do I need a credit card to try TailGPT?
No. Testing TailGPT in your dashboard needs no card. You give payment details only when you choose a plan.
Do TailGPT's prices include GST?
No. TailGPT's prices are exclusive of all taxes, so applicable taxes, such as GST, are added to the price shown.
Can I use TailGPT if my business is outside India?
Yes. TailGPT works on any website you control, wherever it is, and answers from your own pages. Prices are in Indian rupees for now, and you can pay from anywhere, in rupees.
What counts as an answer?
In TailGPT, an answer is one reply from the chat bubble to one visitor question. Answers are counted across your whole account, not per chatbot. Questions refused for abuse don't count.
What counts as a page?
One address on your website that TailGPT reads, however long it is. Your page allowance is shared across every website on your account. Uploaded documents don't use it up.
Is yearly cheaper?
Yes. On today's TailGPT plans a year costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free.
What happens when I run out of answers?
TailGPT emails you at 80% and again at 100% of your monthly questions. At the limit the chat bubble stops appearing until your month resets, unless you upgrade or buy a top-up of extra questions, which never expire. Your visitors never see a billing message.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from the TailGPT dashboard, with no call needed. A bigger plan takes effect at once; a smaller one waits until the period you have paid for ends. If you cancel, you keep everything until the date you have paid up to.
What if my site has 5,000 pages?
Most sites don't need every page read by TailGPT. Point it at the sections that answer questions, and talk to us about the rest.
Does lead capture cost extra?
No. Lead capture and the summary of what visitors asked come with every TailGPT plan. Plans differ only in how much they allow: pages read, questions a month, chatbots and websites.
Is there a limit on how many leads TailGPT collects?
No. TailGPT doesn't count or charge for leads. Your plan counts the questions visitors ask, and leads come out of those conversations.
